PIB Local Charity Poll Ends…

Our Charityfest2009 local charity poll has ended and the results are in!

Out of 103 respondents who voted our Charityfest2009 charity is Horizons for Homeless Children with 43 votes (45%) of the votes cast (for a voting breakdown see the graphic below).

Please take a moment to participate in our Decemberfest 2009 Silent Auction Charity Poll. Vote for the one organization from the list of local charities whose core mission you are passionate about and for which you would like to direct all proceeds from our Decemberfest Silent Auction. A follow-up posting will announce the Decemberfest 2009 Silent Auction Charity winner based on the highest number of votes.

Boston PIB Photo Contest Ends…

The Boston PIB Walks Photo Contest is officially over. We want to thank the following employees for submitting photographs for consideration and judging: Zareh Artinian, Lori-Anne Cohen, Amy Joyce, Emily Lalka, Ann McNally, Becky Napoleon, Al Velasquez, Amanda Watters, Jeff Wickersty, and Michelle York.

From among the entries, the following winners have been selected:

Ann McNally: “Duck On Pond”
Amanda Watters: “Lunch Time!”
Jeff Wickersty: “No Place To Sit”

All winning entries will be framed and formally exhibited in the 9th floor library. An announcement of the exhibition will follow.
